"Welcome Sign"
The famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign is an icon of the world’s entertainment capital. It's located at the beginning of the Las Vegas Strip, the main street of this vibrant destination. Here's a bit of its history: in 2009, the city authorities and environmental organizations took advantage of the fact that Las Vegas is one of the sunniest places in the world and installed solar panels. Because of this, this Las Vegas landmark is considered "the most famous eco-friendly sign in the world."
It features a total of 89 bulbs, which are replaced approximately every four months to keep them shining bright. The replaced bulbs can be purchased at the Neon Museum, and each one is serialized to prove its authenticity.
